Joe Gibbs Announces Speaking Engagement at Breakfast in Tampa

TAMPA - Coach Joe Gibbs and the Gibbs Racing Team announced last month that the Coach would be speaking April, 28 2010 at the 39th Annual Tampa Bay Leadership Prayer Breakfast at the Tampa Convention Center in downtown Tampa.
Members of CBMC Tampa, the executive committee, were pleased to host Gibbs’s chaplain, Bob Dyer and Public Relations Director, Chris Helein for a planning luncheon at the DeBartolo Development offices on Kennedy, where an agreement was quickly reached to promote the event as Joe Gibbs’s Game Plan for Life Breakfast, coordinating with Gibbs’s book and his new ministry to men.
The event, in its 39-year history, has seen as many as 1,500 and as few as 500 in attendance, according to a former Chairman. And with the announcement of Gibbs’s attendance, this year’s Chairman, Dan Shock, and the committee opted to move the event to the Tampa Convention Center in expectation of a minimum of 1,200.

Joe Gibbs Racing team coming to town
On December 8th we are hosting representatives from the
Joe Gibbs Racing team to discuss the ministry opportunity
of Coach Gibbs coming into the Tampa Bay Area on April 28th, 2010.
We will have our committee as well as several key business leaders who
will assist us in building this coalition to bring forth the best possible event

Tampa Prayer Breakfast rolls out new site

TAMPA, FL - The 39th Annual Tampa Bay Leadership Prayer Breakfast, scheduled for May, 2010, announced earlier this month a new Web site and Blog at www.tampabayprayerbreakfast.com.
“Our theme this year is all about preserving the heritage of a breakfast,” said CBMC Committee Chairman Dan Shock. “The new Web site just assures those who already know about us and those who don’t that they can get to a complete set of online information quickly and in a format that is attractive and easy to navigate.”
The project, being developed by Tampa-based CERICDigital (www.cericdigital.com), is a blogger /database-driven platform that makes searching the site a breeze , according to CERIC’s J. Boe Ellis.
“We are excited to be in the middle of the process right now of compiling and categorizing a lot of content,” Ellis said. “And as it comes live to the Web, the site should be reasonably robust but still simple. ”
Ellis said the site should to be completed by mid-November.
The Breakfast is hosted by CBMC (Connecting Businessmen to Christ), a 76-year-old organization formed during the Great Depression in Chicago.
